Special rules for the different stages of politico – religious situations were formed at an early stage according to which the Ibadhi community had to maintain its existence.

There remains a great deal to be done to form a clearer picture of the Ibadhi communities and their development in different fields of activity. Very little is known about the present situation in the various Ibadhi countries and these Ibadhi communities need close study. There is still also a large body of original Ibadhi works on theology, history and to their files of knowledge which deserves attention, and an extensive amount of new material awaits patient examination and thorough inspection in order to have a more complete view of the Ibadhi school.

ENNAMI Amr Khalifa :

Poète et philosophe libyen de Nalout, il y est né en 1939. Après avoir effectué ses études littéraires en Libye et en Egypte, il entreprit ses études supérieures à l’Université de Cambridge en Grande-Bretagne, où il obtient son doctorat en philosophie et pensée islamique. Il  devient, peu après, enseignant à l’Université de Benghazi (Libye). Pour avoir pris ses distances contre le régime au pouvoir, cela lui a coûté la prison à plusieurs reprises. Forcé à l’exile, il choisit les USA. Il était enseignant à l’Université de Michigan. De retour en Libye, après quelques années d’absence, et malgré son retrait définitif de toute activité, il fut enlevé et emprisonné en 1981 à Bouslim. Ses nouvelles ont cessé, après son dernier transfère en 1984.
